Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To open an oceanfront B&B with a guacamole kitchen... and a corgi sanctuary
ABOUT ME
I spend a lot of time on a figurative treadmill. I am learning to perfect my Italian cooking skills. Salmoreja is something I wish I could cook. I really hate working with raw meat, but man do I love pork products. My mission in museums is to pick out the one object that I would steal if I were a cat thief.
PHILOSOPHY
I enjoy the following: Parallel Parking, pretending that I don't normally back into dumpsters while parallel parking, free lunches, free t-shirts, Netflixing, baby pandas, talking and eating at the same time but doing neither particularly quickly, exact change, Diet Coke, ginger (the flower, the spice, the Fred Astaire partner... but mostly the flower), carmelizing (candy, onions, etc.), lactase enzyme, tropical foliage/flowers/temperatures, running safely, double chins, eccentric candleholders, diasporas, flipping eggs without a spatula, snowboarding terribly, snorkeling and scuba diving, vaccinating people, family parties in the shed, swahinglish, talking about really nasty infectious diseases
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've gone to a couple of CS events around the world and would really love to host, when I'm around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CSed with friends in Ecuador, Tanzania, Tunisia, London, and Hong Kong.
Interests
I spend a lot of time backpack travelling. When I'm tied down to student life, I love running, making wild messes while cooking, and grabbing coffee with friends. I LOVE Woody Allen movies and quirky old romantic movies. I suppose my thoughts generally wander into global health equity...
