CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and get a first hand experience from the natives of each country. Going to a country and seeing the beauties and landmarks with one's own eyes is only half of the experience. The other half is to see things from a local's point of view. Couchsurfing is not about saving money, it's about gaining knowledge and getting a fuller picture of our world and how to get proper perspective on your outlook of the world and how it works.

ABOUT ME

I am a 28 year old lawyer from Los Angeles. After getting struck by a car in July of 2011, and nearly dying, I decided that life is very short and could end at any moment. Thus, I decided to start traveling to see the world. I am a very outgoing person who loves to laugh. It is very rare that you will ever see me without a smile. I love to watch, talk, and play sports. I am very environmentally friendly, because after all, I don't want my children to someday have to deal with a polluted Earth that was partially the result of my irresponsibility.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that too many people get caught in their routines. Life is about taking chances and making each day fun and exciting. Routine is the exact opposite of fun and exciting. Although future financial security is important, we must also realize that our youth only lasts for so long and that we should be active in seeking to make the most or our fading energy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be both a couchsurfer as well as a host. I feel as though a great experience can be gained by both sides. Thus, once back home in California, I can still feel connected with other countries by allowing a traveler into my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite new to couchsurfing but, as I heard more and more good things about the site and the people that participate in it, I have decided to expand my learning experiences with this site.

My favorite move is Shawshank Redemption. I also love comedies. My favorite comedies are Pineapple Express, Wedding Crashers, and Superbad. I listen pretty much to all types of music from the Beatles to Kanye West.

I feel as though I am a pretty good expert on California, especially the Los Angeles area. So, if you ever want to go to the right spots in CA, rather than just going to the tourst traps, I am definitely a good person to know. Also, I feel as though I am pretty well educated and know a lot about history as well as the law in the United States. I, on the other hand, just want to learn what it is like, on a day to day basis, to be a citizen in the particular place that I am traveling.
