About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to help people to see the world from a different perspective.

ABOUT ME

I am very much into getting back to nature and that involves solar panels, outdoor toilet, growing fruits and vegetables and lots and lots of varied music and drumming, with mountain biking thrown in there too, I live near Glastonbury as I love the area and enjoy showing people round.
If you come stay with me I can show you Glastonbury and some places that tourists will never find but I will also be grateful for a bit of hands on work, (growing dinner etc). I am into nutrition and healthy Vegan food (even meat eaters find my dishes very nutritious, tasty and filling). We do not have running water here so all water is collected from a local spring (the water is hydro-pressured from the mendips) and it is of better quality than tap water, we have an outside compost toilet. We do not use harsh chemicals to wash with nor do we poison the land. There is plenty of fun to be had from playing drums/guitar to carving and making stuff/art. We do buy food from supermarkets at the moment and I have full internet access and mains power (350w solar energy), I do think technology can be advantageous...
So if you want to come visit our 'eco farm' please apply in the correct way and relate your interests to mine, if you have different interests then this is also good as we could learn from each other (mains electricity does not have 2 live wires in a plug now does it - polarity).
I work lots as i am saving up for a motorhome, gardening, marathon training and setting up my nutrition business but with enough notice can re arrange my time.

PHILOSOPHY

There are so many ways to view life, try them all...

Be open minded, or grind to a halt on your path.

Trust in the natural energy/life force and it will look after you.

Death is not the end, it is just another cosmic cycle.

Fear creates fear, paranoia and hate. The government wants its people to live in fear as we are easier to control.

The governments should fear the masses not the other way round.

Change is stability

Be the change you want to see in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you visit I can teach you cooking, sound production, meditation and loads of other fun things to do and we can explore Glasonbury.

As a surfer I hear stories of rude people that take the piss, this is unacceptable. To those people then:- 1 day you will host {how would you feel if your house was treated like a hostel}. And if you have hosted before:- Why be in that group of free loading idiots.
Its not all about money, its about respect, courtesy and etiquette.

Therefore when I get to meet other CSers and they have an oven, I love to cook for them. My wife makes the best chocolate cake too. If we are surfing you will get one, if you don't like chocolate we will make you a chocolate surprise... Mmmmmmm

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on a home made couch for 2 months in Holland, as it was in a converted removal van that I built for some mental travelling, I lost my job due to recession as a carpenter in England as I`m self taught and not qualified. So I built this van with a kitchen, toilet/shower. 2 x double bed and couch, all fully insulated with extractor fans etc. then played guitar in Holland everyday to earn money for food. Ahhh what a life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been in the Army for 6 years, and in that time I saw the light, I do not regret it because I now see the governments for what they are, liers, murderers and full of manipulation tactics. I will not fight their war...

Stopped smoking after 18 years.

Been on Cosmos for a radio interview and live set.

Jungle survival course in Kenya.

7 Sky dives.

Converted a removal van to live in.

Busking around Holland.

Stranded on a jet ski 1 mile from shore at christmas in England (pretty cold).

Every day is amazing, because I make it so.

Having my Handfasting wedding on the only sunny afternoon in the month.
