About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to keep this case of senioritis at bay until May :)

ABOUT ME

My best friends would probably call me a "domestic goddess", I do not really think that I would say that about myself....but I can see where they would get it from. I graduate in May with a degree in Dietetics and then I am heading to Spokane, WA to start my clinical rotations. I grew up along the Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii. Utah was a new experience, but I love the time I have spent here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet and greet. Love being able to grab a coffee or beer with fellow surfers!

Interests

I love food and everything that it encompasses. I love to bake and cook for everyone. The kitchen is the focal point in my house and that is where the parties take place. Don't know how to cook? That's ok I would love to cook for you.
Besides food, being outside is my next favorite thing. I love climbing, kayaking, hiking, and camping. Road trips with great friends is the best.

Music, Movies, and Books

I wish I were more of a movie buff. However, that is not the case.

Music on the other hand I love. Head and the Heart, Blind Pilots, Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men and the Paper Kites are just some of my current music choices. I love finding new bands or putting together an epic play list for a road trip.

The last book that I read for leisure was Crime and Punishment. Currently my bookshelf is full of books by Micheal Pollan, Carlo Petrini, Mark Bittman and other food writers (it comes along with the degree).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done was working in a three different prisons in Mississippi. I learned more in three months there than I did in a year of school. I have some great stories from prison ;)
