My happiest memories of traveling to new places are when I've had the opportunity to meet locals, understand a little of the local area, and share a meal or a conversation with people completely outside my normal existence. The warm glow of friendship which steps across barriers of nationality, race or language - these are the true pleasures of wandering.

I've had the good fortune to visit some amazing places and meet some incredible people in my life. One of the most incredible memories for me is walking the Milford Track with 3 wonderful friends. The scenery was sublime and the memories from that trip always bring a smile to my face.
