Hello, my name is Juliana, I'm Brazilian and I'm 26 years old. I was born and have lived my entire life in São Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil and one of the biggest in the world. I graduated in Cinema and nowadays I work with advertising films and social networks. Today my greatest desire is to explore the world, meet new people and learn new cultures. I worked as a freelancer and loved what I did, but I always felt I had to get out of my bubble and live adventures out of Brazil.

I traveled through Europe for a year and a half, been to 14 countries and met many people. Now I crossed the world again to live adventures in a place I never imagined, Oceania. Now I'm in New Zealand but gonna live in Australia for up to three years in a Working Holiday.

I am very talkative , proactive, leadership-minded, enthusiastic, passionate, and creative. I love to study and learn new things, like languages, history, politics, "geek stuff" and of course, meeting people and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started traveling alone in December 2022 and since then I have taken a lot into account and learned too much from the people I meet along the way. More than sightseeing, traveling is talking, diving into the culture of a place, tasting different tastes, seeing new landscapes, learning the language, and most of all, meeting new people of different ages and personalities.

Couchsurfing is a much cooler way to travel and exchange experiences than just traveling from hotel to hotel. The platform gives me a more intense cultural exchange and allows me to travel longer.

Leaving my hometown alone to venture to Europe with little money and see the aurora borealis
