30-year old doctor, trying to find the time to travel to as many countries as I possibly can and meet a bunch of new people along the way!
I can be quite the quiet guy but I'm usually the one in the group that does all the talking.
I take it as a personal motto to do that thing you wish you did and never to regret not having it done due to fear. Embrace failure and try. Getting a "no" is guaranteed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to get to know people and travelling and in that respect mixing it all together just seems like the perfect combo.

Interests

As a traveler I should say I love learning languages. And as a doctor I'd have to say I quite enjoy medicine and fitness of course! Not so much for vegetables though ! :P
Also I love economics and especially behavioural economics having done a couple of online courses in those fields.
I also put tremendous value in design at its core (not just aesthetics but also function and sustainability!). That applies not only to products but also to cities and urban planning. Really a fan of this trendy movement of going electric + biking (too bad almost all cities in Portugal have a lot of hills..)!
Besides that, I absolutely love watchmaking, cinema and photography which I've recently taken up as a hobby!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Depends on what I do. I can either enjoy jazz whilst at home or alt-J or the sort or just hear those cliché upbeat songs for running.
For a movie I can't really pick a favorite but Interstellar does stand out from the crowd. As for a TV Show, I'd definitely say Sherlock!!! And Suits! And House of Cards!
Not really a book-guy so far, but working on it.

Language: Not an official teacher but I can teach some stuff of English or Portuguese ! Also up for Spanish or French conversations if you're so inclined. I'd be able to practice them and maybe my host (you!) as well!

I can also share my personal tastes in movies and TV shows since I'm quite picky with those.

Also able to share tips on countries to travel and some little useful bits if I happen to know something on where you want to go!
