About Me

Hello hello!! :D

I am new to this...so bare with me...

I remember hearing about Couchsurfing some years ago and I don't know why I haven't jumped on this sooner!!!

I surfed this year for the first time in Oslo, Norway, and then again on a trip to Morocco. I’m blown away by the wonderous generosity of the couchsurfing community ☺️ and looking forward to future shared experiences with people from various backgrounds.

If you are looking for accommodation in Cambridge UK, feel free to ask me, but as I haven't run this by my housemates yet and we only have a sofa in our shared space, it's only a small possibility at this moment in time.

I love traveling and meeting people from all walks of life. Often I have used hostels and campsites as a chance to meet new people. I've spent a lot of my travel time volunteering for conservation projects in Central America and Austrailia and Fiji, so I've stayed in a few remote places and worked hard to look after the environment and people. I have also partaken in things similar to Wooffing while staying with friends abroad, and helped run scuba dive sites in the tropics.

I work as a Gardener here in Cambridge, employing Permaculture values at the core of everything I do. In general my life tends to revolve around plants and the natural world, health and happiness!! Always taking steps towards learning and growing in all ways mentally, spiritually, emotionally :)

I'm usually up for adventures and expanding my world through new experiences and interesting and thought provoking connections, although it has to be said I do also value my quiet time for dreaming, yoga, and photography :-)

I love music of all kinds and like to go out to see live bands, sometimes I photograph events for my friends who are fundraising for local charities or festivals. Otherwise I tend to enjoy exploring wild landscapes, walking or swimming in nature, sometimes foraging and often trying to eat more locally, cooking tasty meals

My future plan after a little more work and travel and learning is to get some land with friends and build on it. This is not a pipe dream, When I make an intention I make it happen!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is for living :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived at and helped run two dive sites while doing conservation work. One time in Fiji, the other in Costa Rica! We went diving in the most beautiful clear waters several times/day/week... I've seen at least one of most types of creature under the sea, but I've never seen a dolphin!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Nicaragua, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, United States, Wales
