I am Jo, a danish Dane from Denmark.
Usually I am a very funny, laughing, out going kind of person, who finds the bright side of dark situations. The only thing though is that I'm not a person with a lot of patience. I need to be around independent people, because I very often forget to worry about other people, and I don't want anyone to have a bad experience while surfing at my place. :) Also don't be too polite, since it really can annoy me! I don't expect any gifts from you and also I don't necessarily give more than a beer when we go out. PHILOSOPHY

I believe in reincarnation and that we are on this earth, because we need to learn and get experiences. How can you do that in a better way than traveling?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love the idea of being able to travel as cheap as possible and in the meanwhile meet some absolutely amazing people. Couchsurfing expands your world wide network and gives you lifetime experiences! - Who doesn't love that? And I love happy people!!!! :D

Interests

I love sports of all kinds, maybe besides from chess. I enjoy to get to know new, amazing people and I also like art and to party now and then, but I'm not as crazy about it as I used to be. I'm a divemaster, so diving is one of my favourite things to do and my passion is nudiebranchs and whales. Surfing is tons of fun and riding my motorcycle is my therapy. I'm an outdoor type of person and love all types of new adventures! Take me to anything that is different from anything I've ever seen and I'll love you for it forever!
To me life is all about the little things, so if you see me get all excited about a bird, don't get surprised... ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kinds of music, as long as it has a high pace, pretty much, like metal, rock, pop-rock, alternative music and then reggae which you have to love no matter what. ;)
I normally don't see the same movie more than max 2 times, since I think that would be a waste of time, and there is so many movies I still haven't seen that some think I should have watched years ago. I don't watch TV in general, and especially not SciFi and phantasy!!!!
I only a kind of enjoy informative books. Actually, I don't like reading that much, though I would love to like it... I simply don't have the patience for it... Sitting still isn't my thing...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to choose one thing and one thing only, then it would be that I stayed with Jason Rupp in Juneau, Alaska.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to share my experiences and what ever I have, if you need it. I will always be able to share my point of view and my humor. As said before, I'm unfortunately not a person with a lot of patience, and there fore I'm not a good teacher. ;)
Please don't say in your couch request that we can share our travel experiences. I'm tired of hearing me talk about the same things over and over again, and we will eventually manage to find a topic to talk about. ;)
