About Me

Until September 2015, I lived in Poland, my home country. Then I moved to the UK which had always been my great dream - due to my love of the language, history and culture. I lived in London for a while then spent almost the whole year in Hemel Hempstead, then went traveling to South-East Asia for 3 months and afterwards, came to Bristol to give it a try. Enjoying it all a lot :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Could probably talk about it all for ages :) You will make my heart beat faster if you mention Ninja Tune. Also, 'Bristol sound' has always been there so no matter the mood, Massive Attack always fits. It won't take you long to convince me to go on a jazz concert but a good, dark electro is always welcome. And folk. Ceilidh, anyone?
Movies? Snatch, Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Fight Club, K-PAX, Green Mile, Ghibli studio everything :) and some awkward Korean stuff like Oldboy. And Tarantino.
Books? Loads of Bill Brison for the last few years. 'Notes from a small island' was the last straw to my decision to move to the UK.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went backpacking to South-East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) for 15 weeks and it was my first time ever outside Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try teaching you some Polish, if you'd like (always my great ambition to become a Polish teacher for foreigners, just why is that such a horribly difficult language?) :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lots of stories to tell, starting from my recent trip then going back to the time I left my orderly life in Poland and came to England, then back to March 2015 when I broke my leg and that changed everything.
I love cooking and baking so just choose the flavour for the muffins!

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom
