Hi all, my name is Joanna and I am from the UK 🇬🇧

Back in January 2019, I quit my job and sold all my belongings to finally pursue my dream of travelling full time! Since then I have completed an Adventure Guide Internship in New Zealand, worked as a camp counsellor/hiking lead in Canada, road tripped on a motorcycle around Indonesia, wandered streets of China, lived a vanlife in America, explored the driest place on earth - Atacama Desert in Chile, hitchiked through Argentina, lived like a local in Ecuador, climbed and summited many many mountains, met many soul mates and have had a time of my life, jumped on a cargo boat for 5 day journey across the Peruvian jungle and many many more!

I have now traveled to almost all South American countries so I am heading towards Central America now, with Panama being my first stop! So excited for Central America 🌞

I absolutely love travelling and I am so blessed to have been living this beautiful life. I love couch surfing as I get to meet many beautiful people that I always connect with and stay in touch forever! I look forward to meeting you!

The people I have met whilst travelling are among the best people I have ever met in my entire life, couchsurfing is one of the best way to meet people whilst travelling and make those connections. I love to meet locals (or simply people that live there) and get to know them, as well as stay at a home sometimes which makes a nice difference from a busy hostels! It is a great grounding experience to be able to stay at home with another person or people and it is an experience that as a full time traveller I crave sometimes!

Musica, film e libri

All music mainly reggae, roots, fusion, rap. Favourite bands and artists are SOJA, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Alt-j, Tash Sultana, Mac Miller, Satsang, The Human Experience and Mike Love. One book that changed me and inspired me plenty is “Three cups of Tea” by David Relin and Greg Mortenson. I love all books and teachings of Osho and Ram Dass.

Climbed an active volcano at night and have gone inside the crater whilst having a terrible food poisoning.

Jumped on a cargo boat for 5 day journey through the Peruvian Amazon.
