About Me

I'm Jo! I'm a Greek physics student, normally living in Thessaloniki, but currently on Erasmus in Toulouse.
I love wandering around and I wanna make the most of my time abroad discovering new places. I also love having a strong connection with the cities I live in, so I' d love meeting new people to explore Toulouse together.
I'm a great cook and a mediocre but enthousiastic juggler and painter. I love all forms of art, but mainly films, books, paintings and music. I follow a vegetarian diet and try to do my best for the planet.
I'd describe myself as an ambivert, both open to new people and experiences and in need of my own space and time (while of course respecting other people's space and time!)
I've only travelled around Europe and my favorite places are Thessaloniki, London, Athens, every place I've been in Italy and Toulouse.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because after the very long lockdown I feel an overwhelming need to see the world.
I don't have so much money to do that though!
I think that the best way to get to know a place is to ask locals to share their wisdom.
Finally, I think it's a more ethical way to travel! I wanna avoid disturbing local life by renting an airbnb, appartments in big cities should first and foremost be available to pernament residents.
