About Me
If I had to describe myself in a sentence, I would say that I am a sports enthusiast with a MSc in Biochemistry, that is currently pursuing a PhD in Physical Activity and Health. But that would really be reductive...... I identify a lot with Walt Whitman's poem Song of Myself, in the sense that I don't believe I can or should be checked into little boxes. We are so much more than that!
But anyway, I am a very communicative person, and always down to converse about whatever, whenever, just drop me a message 🤙🏻
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Not going to lie that at first it was because It's a cheap way to travel, where you meet nice people from different backgrounds, and you get a genuine feeling of the places you are staying in, which obviously makes for a great experience. But nowadays I feel it's so much more... I've made actual friends through the app, and I feel hosting gives me a window not only to the world, but also to the beauty of my own city, which definitely makes my life better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just dropping my all-time favourite movie... The Green Mile. Probably the most touching movie I have ever had the pleasure of watching. But as a scientist I also must give a shout out to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, that movie was perfection on a screen.
I'm a lover of music, all kinds (except for very heavy metal), and there's no concert not worth going to! If there's something happening in your city, it's an automatic green light haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, there's so many things to choose from... I'll keep to my travels, and the latest/craziest/most fulfilling was going from Marrakech to Dakar in 14 days without a plan, just a return flight ticket. And so many things happened... Hitchhiked 700km in 12h in a truck in Western Sahara, rode the longest train in Africa in Mauritania, participated in a end of the year Sufi ceremony in Senegal... Just a massive trip all in all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Funny stories, a nice time, a nice experience (I hope)
I can also cook quite well (but that really is subjective, isn't it?).
