ABOUT ME

I am a Chinese girl currently working in Zhuhai,China, used to study in glasgow,UK, my major is pharmacy. Job is full of challenging things and I hope I can enjoy those time, life is tough, but live with it, enjoy it and when can't hold the pressure, talk with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to try different things as much as I can, before I'm too old to do so. Sometimes it makes you feel you are awesome if you go somewhere you really try hard to get to, but sometimes you just have to carry on as you have no choice. It may suffer when you are experiencing it, but all left are good memories.

Travelling is a thing that can be easily addictive to. Talking with people from different culture can make people creative, that's a research result, not a joke! Hahahaha

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first participated in 2012 when I decided to travel EU myself. It would not be a good experience if I have to travel alone when I first thought about it, but then I tried couchsurfing, which made it so different from what I would imagine before.It is not the couch, but the interacting with people makes everything different. The beauty of unconditional trust and sharing. You are not just travel there, you are actually living among them! Sometimes you love the place because of the scenery, the culture or the food, but sometimes you can't forget it just because the people you meet there that makes the identity.

Currently all of my experience were great and unforgettable. I want to continue my journey with CS and keep passing the message to other hosters and surfers.

I can see creepy people on CS and the changing of CS itself, but I believe most of us have a honest heart to meet new people, as we all love travel and love to share the spirits that make us believe we should still be alive. That's why we give up our cozy home and normal life and indulge in the strange world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having surfed a few times in EU, but haven't host at home, where you really can't meet that many foreigners (very different from Shanghai). Looking forward to more activities happening in Wuhan.

兴趣

Always like travel I think, once study abord, make the most of it! I like to collect post cards, this comes with the travel. Enjoy walking and listening to the sounds of nature. I like to take pictures but also use eyes and mind to see the stunning scenery when camera can't catch it.

Most of the time I would be normal and quite, but I also can't keep calm in front of amazing things. I like walking, singing in the rain, cycling and hiking in the middle of nowhere, enjoy talks that really mean something different about how we look at things.
I try to learn more, swim in the water and learn something I never know before everyday. My comfort zone can be small, this thought came from the movie "Paper town", I think I still have the courage to step out of it, but I need something or someone to inspire me.

I also want to meet more friends from different part of the world and travel around the world. When travel alone, I need to have good weather, but if I travel with friends, they are the sunshine for me.

Yes, finally I finished my 10-day trip in EU myself in 2012, with the great help from local hosts and my friends in that areas. Those experience made my trip fantastic and unforgettable!

The experience in 2013 is great memory for me as well. I am pround to say my trip is special and unique because all of your help!

July 2014 also have great CS experience.
Sep 2014 Sometimes you just need a sense of direction and a little bit of luck in order to get there. (La Spezia, Italy)

June 2016 Jo is back to the CS solo traveller again in Malta. But that was how I met more people and the experience is fantastic again! Thank you all people in Malta, I will make a wish to come back again

Oct 2016 Peschiera del Garda, luckily I met two locals, their warm heart and passion to welcome travelers around the world, and their entrepreneur stories are all inspiring to me.

Oct 2019 Can't believe I still use CS and still can meet interesting new friends on the road. Seattle is a beautiful place!
