Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
New to it. Presently just surfing but as soon as I have a couch to offer I will.
Interests
Music is a massive part of my life; I listen obsessively, play piano and guitar though I'm well out of practice, love playing around with software/beats. With time/money I would invest a lot more in it. I do quite a lot of writing. I'm interested new narrative forms like those of video games, and also in the game-like nature of reality and society and so on. Buzzy stuff like that. Also science in general and all it's possibilities. Also hiking, food, nature, conversation, raving, etc. Soccer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked for 10 days through Mt Aspiring National Park back in NZ, carrying all supplies from the get go and camping in the mountains for several nights, waking up with boots frozen solid, downclimbing sheer unexpected rockfaces with a 20kg pack and no rope, passing a hypothermic Israeli being led back down a pass in a thunderstorm, crossing three mountain passes, getting a free ride across a river on a jetboat because the girl in our crew asked nicely, swimming in icy mountain-water, tripping on adrenalin/natural endorphins after hiking 30km before lunch on the last day to catch a ride out.
