About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get involved back home in Newcastle!!
ABOUT ME
From Newcastle originally I've spent the last few years taking some time out and exploring the world, to include living in Glasgow for 4yrs, travelling through Mexico, Central and South America, India, Nepal, road tripping round Europe and New Zealand and living and working around Australia but the time has come to return to where I began and grow some roots. I'm keen to get involved with life back in Newcastle and find out what is going on here having been away for so long.
A little about me, I would say I am an easy-going independent woman who loves to smile, laugh and chat and I never grow tired of hearing about peoples adventures. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, learning about different cultures and attempting to learn new languages, French being my latest venture.
PHILOSOPHY
I love life and make the most of it, I really think having a positive outlook on life is the way and it makes anything possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was introduced to Couch Surfing by a friend who has hosted and surfed and met loads of people along the way. She could only tell good stories about the times she had and recommended I give it a try along my travels.
I have now met loads of fun and interesting people through couchsurfing having used it a lot in Melbourne to meet new people, I have been to loads of meet up events and made some lifelong friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have now couchsurfed in Europe and Australia and met some amazing people along the way. It also really helped me to settle into Melbourne life, with events/parties/meet up's happening all the time.

I enjoy exploring, getting lost, people, being outdoors, adventuring, talking, laughing, reading, planning things, the list could go on....

Music, Movies, and Books
I am blessed with a terrible memory, meaning I can watch the same film again and again and love it each time! i tend to like close to life films, which it is possible to relate to.
My favourite book is still currently standing at the Shantaram which I could not put down and my music tastes are very varied but recently I've been listening to a lot of the Magic Numbers, The XX. I also love anyone who puts on a good live set being an avid festival goer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've travelled a lot and some of the most amazing things I've seen have to be Macchu Pichu or just Peru as a whole is a pretty amazing place. The people are so welcoming and friendly and spending 3 weeks helping out at a volunteer group who were helping rebuild Pisco after it suffered a devastating earthquake was an amazing experience.
Having recently spent a summer touring Europe by pushbike and doing various fruit picking jobs I have also discovered you don't need to travel so far from home to see some pretty amazing sites, a lot are right on my doorstep in Europe!!
