About Me

Currently travelling with my friend Regine through Oman. My apartment at home is packed with books and music, but even more I like to listen the birds sing with the sunrise in the Amazon, have a good time with people I just met from anywhere in the world, have a good laugh and come closer in whatever language...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people, coming together, helping out, having fun being part of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started with an article about couchsurfing which I
wanted to write about CS, and then I ended up becoming an enthousiastic couchsurfer myself.

Currently I'm listening to: Sufjan Stevens, Benjamin Biolay, Muse ... and much more. I support www.somafm.com and recommend everybody who loves good music to do so.

Books I've been reading recently: Mo Yan: Frogs, Adam Johnson: Orphan master's son, Haruki Murakami: IQ84

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Christmas 99 in the Amazon jungle with a Brazilian indigenous guide and three cool guys from India - one Moslem, one Hindu, one vegetarian Christian. We ended up eating grilled piranhas, had some caipirinhas too many... and lots of fun. Punchline: peace and anything else is possible... if you have a fishing rope, cachaça, lemon and ice...

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, El Salvador, France, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, Paraguay, Romania, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
