ABOUT ME

Hi there,

everybody calls me Joe. I enjoy traveling immensely and travelled at times quite a bit. Along the way, I signed up with couch-surfing and only had great experiences. As I mainly stayed a peoples places so far I now want to give something back and am planning to host people.

I am a outgoing person, though can (as I think everybody does) in the beginning come across as quiet. I love diversity in every aspect, may it be the people, cultures, opinions, music, food etc. I am a true believer, that one should treat everybody with respect and the friendliness they would expect for themselves. I enjoy sports in general (e.g. football, basketball, volleyball), hiking, cooking (even though I am certainly no master chef), photography and obviously meeting people or I wouldn't be on here...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My place is still not fully furnished and therefore limited to host but I have lived in Reutlingen, Frankfurt, NYC, London, Ecuador, Cambodia and travelled to many places e.g. India, China, Japan, Colombia, Venezuela, etc. so I am more than happy to help out with travel-advice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been staying at peoples places, teamed up with another couchsurfer for 4 weeks of travels together and went on several hikes in Alaska with other couch-surfers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is hard to say I think. Some of the most amazing places I have seen so far... the Angle Falls in Venezuela, the Chinese Great Wall at sun-set, the Taj Mahal at Sunrise and Cape Tribulation in Australia.

Things I have done... well my latest personal achievement: I finished my first ever Marathon and want to keep running.
