About Me

University student trying to learn things and get talents!

Meeting interesting people is probably my greatest passion, and travelling gives a good oportunity to do that. I’d happily spend the rest of my life meeting unisual people and learning unusual things. Teach me about something I’ve never heard about!

I tend to stay around in the city looking for interesting things to do, and i’m also relatively politically engaged. When i’m alone i read and sometimes write, though i also waste a lot of time on nonsense activities. The rest of my efforts goto finishing up my bachelors degree in philosophy (and sometimes playing chess)

I tend to go on long hitchhiking trips during the summers. This is the way i let off the stresses of the year, and if i’m sending you a couchsurfing request, this is probably my current activity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing because i’m tired of hostels and I generally feel like i have better meetings with people when i couchsurf. While meeting travelers is fun, meeting locals is more memorable.

On the other hand, I also enjoy hosting people. While couchsurfing requests are not that common in Gothenburg, it’s always fun for me and my roommate to have people over

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently read Crash by JG Ballard and All the Kings Horses by Michele Bernstein, both of which I enjoyed greatly. I’ve read a lot of the normal classics too, but nowadays i’m curious about semi-obscure books (I’d love to be reccomended any!)

I’d love to be shown folk music from the countries of my hosts! And some movies too maybe. I have a really hard time disliking any movie, but we can talk favorite directors in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked far distances for trivial reasons

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to become good enough at chess to win free beers in bars. I can probably also teach you relatively complicated philosophy stuff, or other things related to my university studies. Maybe hitchhiking tips?

I’d like to learn anything that I can be taught. Cooking tips, cultural things, academic stuff, or anything else. Please teach me something extremely specific, that only you know!
