I just finished an exchange semester in the US and now I'm traveling across America. My future plans are to get a Ph.D. in Applied Social Research and direct a (few) feature film(s).

At the moment I'm a student at Stockholm University with a major in Sociology. Before that, I worked for 12 years as a freelance cinematographer, ediror and director. Other than that, I'mna nice guy with an insatiable interest for watching and making movies who love to meet new people and acquire new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to experience surfing myself yet (only hosted) but I would love to give it a try, help a guy out!

I think couch surfing is an awesome thing because it is (or at least should be) a perfect exchange where everyone gets something out of it, spiritually, philosophically, socially or knowledge. Either way, it will be an experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many!! Recently I saw, and absolutely loved The Florida Project, the web series The End of the F***ing World, A Star is Born, Hereditary and like most intelligent people I love Game of Thrones and Westworld.

Music is a very diverse mix of mostly pop music but a lot of hip hop and rock. I used to be a music nerd but totally let that go when Spotify came haha.

When it comes to books I mostly read non-fiction since I'm studying all the time, it's actually been a long tie since I indulged in good old fiction, but hopefully this summer! Though I love biographies and social realism.
