ABOUT ME

At 80, I'm still going strong. Live in a small town and o as much as possible for the habitantes. My house with uts pool and large patio works well for inormal get-togethers. For 22 years established the town library as a volunteer, won many prizes, etc. Had a very strong relationship with my husband, a talented Spanish painter until he died two years ago. Right now I am working on a posthumus exhibition of his work. My physical stamina is not what it used to be but we're aññ going strong.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the most ecstatic experience is the contact with other people.I don't want to become so open that any kind of person delights me. I'm an old lady now and want to keep up with what's going on in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room -double bed in the centr of pueblo. There is a bus of about 50 minutes that goes to Madrid almost every hur. There are loads of good restaurants, El Escorial is only 12 Km away and the area itself is delicious. Population has grown, high rate of English speaking neighbirs, etv.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None.

Interests

I have4 mostly had Couchsurfing experience in the homes of people I know, but it's always been a delightful experience. I love the movies, theatre, good restaurants, turism. I use a crutch and that has limited me from doing many things on my own, but i'm in there plugging.

Being a librarian has given me the statusof cathiolic interests. I know when to shut the tv down, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in the theatre from 1958 and left for Spain in 1968. My encounter with my husbandOn a score of 1 -10 who was 18 years younger than I was the most exciting encounter I had for 38 years minus one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share my sense of humanity with others. Especially people who can't seem to have a a perspective of their own.
