ABOUT ME

Born and bred in Manchester and love my city. I've seen it change over the years and am proud of its history and happy to share this with guests. Like many of my generation I didn't travel very much I as a youngster, too busy working, but now retired and intend catching up. I love the CS idea it can help spread peace and harmony. (Still a bit of the hippy in me)

I don't waste time on things that are not important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Introduced to cs by my daughter and was impressed by her guests. Just come back from Slovenia where we met two friends she had hosted and we had a wonderful time. I've only just joined CS and am looking forward to hosting travellers and building up references.

Interests

Love cooking for friends, good company, conversation and the odd bottle of wine, great. Love music, many types, cann't sing but that doesn't stop me having a go. have always loved reading, imagination can take you anywhere!

Favourite film, Ken Loach's Land and freedom. Other goodies I like to revisit, The Blues Brothers, The Full Monty and Brassed off.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once climbed a 300ft rock face. The experience was terrifying but boasting about it in the pub afterwards was great.
