My name is Joana, 28 years old and I come from Porto, Portugal. I decided to change my life to be a volunteer during 9 months in Agrigento, Sicily. I am working with kids and youngsters migrants or with migrant background.
I am a open mind person, very curious about everything and deeply in love about nature!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to try to meet new people when I travel around Sicily. I am learning italian (and I wish to learn a bit of sicilian) and develop my english.
I am also a little bit shy so I consider this experience a good opportunity to improve myself.
Unfortunately I can't accept guests because I am living in a special accommodation just for volunteers.
