My name is Joana Sternberg Gaspar, I am a 21 year old portuguese girl who loves to explore the world, learn from others and new challenges.

I am a young passionate vegan and traveller.

I just finished my degree in Modern Languages (Portuguese and Spanish) at Birkbeck University of London (UK) and I have also successfully completed a CELTA course at International House of Lisbon which enables me to teach English worldwide. Before starting my career as a language teacher I am spending time travelling and learning about various fields of my interest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently wwoofing in Maui - Hawaii and I will soon be going on a road trip around the US starting in San Francisco =) looking forward to meeting new people and possibly staying with some locals during my trip.
