I grew up in a rainy town near the North Sea where people are a bit slow and everyone is riding the bycicle to get around. I love the ocean but since I moved to the south of Germany to study I also get the appeal of the mountains. In generall I just enjoy beeing outside and discovering new places by foot or by bike.
I like beeing spontanious and would describe myself as a calm, honest and open-minded person.

I joined couchsurfing because I like meeting new people and learning about their perspectives on life, stories and live philosophy. I am also interested in the way people in different parts of the world live their daily life and am happy if someone likes to share a moment of their lives with a me.

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy almost every kind of music, but I especially love rock and hip hop music from the 80`s and 90`s as well as reaggae music. Here are some artists whose music I could listen to for hours: The Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, Fatoumata Diawara, the Beatles, Missy Elliot... and there are so many more and countless to still be discovered...

My all-time favourite books are the Harry Potter books because aside from Joanne K. Rowlings incredible imagination and writing style and the fact that one can read here books many times and still discover new hints that one missed the first time, they teach about true friendship, forgiveness and humanity.

My last amazing experience was to work with children with mental and physical disabilities who told me that there are so many unique ways of communicating and that so many things you may find simple can bring you joy.

One funny thing that happened to me was being hugged by Angela Merkel, while being in a polar bear costume.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I love trying new food. My dream is to one day open a restaurant where food from all over the world is served and consumed the way it is in the country it is from. Be it with fingers, cutlery, chopsticks, on the ground, at the table, while everyone eats from one plate or has their own... It should be a place for people to connect because in my opinion connecting though food is one of the best ways there is. Or is there anyone who doesn`t love eating?

Having lived in three different parts of Germany I can share some stories about the different ways of living in different parts in my home country. I would also love to share my passion for food. I would be happy to prepare some German or Ghanian dishes with and/for for you and would also love to learn about food from your country. And of course we can always just hang out and talk about life :)
