Hello! I am Joana and I am a freshly graduated architect, currently doing post-grad internship in Portugal. Since January I am living in Porto and I love it! Before that, during one exchange semester, I had the chance to live in Milan and to taste a bit of la dolce vita!
Personally, I consider myself easy-going, positive and open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New places excite me, but I believe the emotion that a certain place gives you is far stronger when you step away from the tourist paths and slow down. I find Couchsurfing as one of the greatest way to do that - getting in touch with people, living for a while in a real home, tasting the real life of a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I listen to highly corresponds to my current mood, but generally rock-alternative, classical; funk, jazz...I also enjoy going to symphonical concerts, different jam sessions of unknown bands in unknown bars :)

It is hard to distinguish a favourite among the books, but one of the last ones I really enjoyed was Strange pilgrims: twelve stories by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
