About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to experience and to find

ABOUT ME

It is very hard to speak about one's self and much more in a short paragraph... But, to this purpose I will say that I am still finding my way in this world, and I am doing it by travelling, experiencing new things, learn all I can and, when possible, love as much.

I usually say I am a cellist, but I guess in this last years I became other things as well.
I write, a lot. I am not published (although I have a children's book coming out next March), but that is one of my biggest goals.

I am open-minded and eager to learn whatever comes by.

I am kind of a library rat, I have my books and notebooks with me all the time and I fell good just beeing by myself. I had my share of "party nights", that I now do my best to avoid.
However, I had my best experiences meeting new people, as I found out that there is really good friends out there, just waiting to find one another.

I am more a "thinker" then a "doer", but I am working my way around that :)

The most important charactheristic about myself, is probably: Curiosity.

And by that I said to much, and nothing at all, so the better would be to meet you and let you decide "all about me" :)

PHILOSOPHY

Never let fantasy out of sight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By now, I don't have a fixed home yet, so I am travelling as much as I can, and enjoying the benefits of Couchsurfing. When I settle, I will open my doors for all of you :)

(previous post is outdated - now I have a steady home and I am ready to welcome new travelers)

Interests

I have been raised inside the world of Arts - Music, of course, Literature, Painting and so on.

I also have a big uneducated passion for Cooking! I love to cook all kinds of food and I have spend some time developing my homemade chocolate truffles :P

I love to write and to learn new skills.

I am interested in anything new that brings something to me or to the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't do this one properly, I would always leave something out! so, I will just put the ones that come to my head now, probably because I had them not so long ago..

Books: J. K. Rowling; Tolkien; Tolstoi; Paul Auster; Gabriel Garcia Marquez; Jose Saramago; Isabel Allende; Oscar Wilde; Balzac (sometimes); Murakami.

Movies: Woddy Allen; Hitchcock; Fellini (it depends on my mood); Miyasaki; Pixar

Music: Brahms; Bach; Debussy; Chopin; (I am sorry, there are to many classical ones, so I just add: Classical composers); Billie Holiday; Ella Fitzerald; Blues, Jazz, Bossa nova; Antonio Jobim

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have played in Orchestral concerts that made me have goose bumps.

I have seen a rain storm in the Sahara desert!!!

I am proud of my little sister.

I fell in love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Cello, Piano, Music Reading/Theory and Portuguese.

I want to learn everything!!
No, just kidding, but I am eager for knowledge, either it is in form of a artcraft technic, language training or, my favourite of all, story telling :)
