My name is Joana, I'm from Portugal and I am a very outgoing person. I love to laugh, to talk and to meet new people. I really enjoy getting to know more about every country and culture and that's why in the past years I've been moving from country to country.

My life now:
I am working full time in the biggest youth association of my country - The Scouts - and I couldn't love it more. I'm passionate about working for the future generation to leave this world a bit better than I found it. During the weekends you can find me in Scouts camping and exploring different places. When I have a bit more time off I always travel outside the country.

My life in the past years:
I worked at the Embassy of Portugal in Dublin, Ireland. If you want to find out more about this work, I'm more than glad to share it with you. I also finished my Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation. Everytime I have a day off, I explore more and more of this beautiful world. I'm a scout since I am 12 years old, and I just love it.
I've lived in Germany, while I was studying, in Sweden when I was doing my European Voluntary Service and in Russia, where I was an intern in Political Diplomacy in the Portuguese Embassy. I've been also engaged in many volunteer projects, specially on social work.

Basically, I'm interesting in meeting people all around the world. I really believe that if I am visiting a country and I don't get to know its people, then I didn't really visited it.
