About Me
ATTENTION:
Send me a request only if you read carefully my profile and my home info! I won't host people that are just looking for a place to sleep. You have to want to meet me and tell me why.
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying all the tiny details of our days...
ABOUT ME
I'm a nice portuguese girl (most of the days! ;) ) currently making my way around the Vikings! I've been living in Copenhagen for 3 years already!
I'm a workaholic! I have crazy schedules and I'm still happy about it! You feel the adrenaline, then you are alive! :)
I do my best to be kind and helpful. Also, I'm very honest, I usually say everything that pops my mind (but I never meant to be bad at someone).
I enjoy cooking, specially when I have company. I love exchanging recipes (I can teach all about portuguese cuisine) and I taste everything at least once!
I'm a bit nerdy about what I do, so I love to chat about science (mostly biology). But I'm also very curious about several other topics (except politics, not offending anyone, but is just to hard for me).
I love board games, I don't usually know the rules and I rarely win, but I still love to play them! :)
I really love to travel, I own a list of places to visit (hopefully I will be able to visit Japan before 30...). Sometimes I dream I'll have an all year to just travel around, I think I would be in heaven...
I also like to meet new people with lots of different life experiences, I like to see through someone else's eyes. We grow up so much like this!
Since life is all about enjoying it I thought I could help out some fellow travelers every now and then! I like to give some good advices on what to see and do in the wonderful city of Copenhagen. I always try to chat a bit and to do funny stuff with the people visiting me (however I don't always have much free time).
PHILOSOPHY
To be happy and to do everything in the function of being happy with my life and myself!
When we look back to our memories they need to makes us smile, or it means we are not doing it right...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted many couchsurfers, it is always an interesting experience.
I sometimes show around the city or give tips to couchsurfers even if I am not around.
When I travel I like to meet local couchsurfers, even if it is just for a couple of hours, I don't like to just be the tourist, I want the full experience!
Interests
Traveling, like most of us in CS!! :)
Learning history, mostly about the places I visit.
Reading
Cooking
Enjoying fresh air, with bike tours, beach days and picnics!
Climbing!! It's a drug, you grab the wall and you stop in the sky.
Dancing, I close my eyes and I'm alone in the dance floor...
Crafting, every now and then, my home decor suffers a change.
And many more things...
- dancing
- cooking
- recipes
- politics
- board games
- reading
- traveling
- cycling
- rock climbing
- biology
- history
- science
- tours
- beaches
Music, Movies, and Books
Music, a bit of everything, I enjoy when friends suggest me new bands to listen. Oh, and I love concerts!!!
Books, I'm a voracious reader! Mainly novels, historical, fantastics... Right now I'm finishing the last edited Game of Thrones book. My only wish is to have more time to read.
Movies, just not horror movies please, I'm always closing my eyes! Other than that I think I can see most movies, but I also give my strong opinion about it in the end...
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like to know some facts and history of the places I visit. So whoever I'll meet on the way I will ask this kind of questions.
Also, because of that, I have already learned a few things about Danish history. And then I have one of those weird brains that remembers all the details and funny stories about something. So it is assured that if I show the city to someone I will be a wonderful guided tour! :D (or so I hope!!)
