About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Scandinavian adventure, working in a Hospital in Norway
ABOUT ME
I was born in a small town in a beautiful Island (Mallora). My parents and my two sisters live there and I love to go home and visit them.
I went to study Medicine to Barcelona where I have spend most of my last 10 years. In the meantime I also lived in Berlin and in the south of Germany. I also spend a few months in Edinburgh working in the University.
In May 2011 I finished my specialization in Neurology and still can't believe it! Then I worked a few months in a Hospital in Guatemala, as a volunteer for an international organization and after that I travelled for a few months in America. Great experience!!
In my free time I like to play the violin. I also enjoy playing piano but i'm still very bad... have to practice more! I also love learning languages!
Currently I am working in the Neurology Department at St Olavs Hospital in Trondheim. It,s still a bit difficult to work in Norwegian!
PHILOSOPHY
Learn a lot, and try to help as much as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first heard about this interesting project in june 2011 and couldn't wait to become a member. I actually had done a lot of couch surfing before, but through all the friends of my Erasmus year in Berlin and through people of different orchesters I had played with. It was nice to host friends and also friends of friends I didn,t know.
The next few months I'll be traveling around, but when I settle down I will offer my couch wherever I am!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great! now i will be staying for a while in the same place, so it's time to host!

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to play more music than listen to it... Lately I really enjoy romantic or music from the beginning of the XXth century... Actually with music, books and movies, as with food, if it,s good I like it!!
Best Book: "Cien años de soledad" (Gabriel Garcia Marquez)... and the Harry Potter books!
Best Movie: I used to go to the cinema every week... so it,s difficult to pick one. I can either enjoy a Film from Lars von Trier or Finding Nemo!
Best Music: we recently played the 5th symphony from Beethoven and it was a huge experience! A few weeks ago I heard the 5th of Shostakovich with the Berliner Philharmoniker and it was amazing. And Takemitsu as well! Mmmm Arvo Pärt, Fratres, Tabula Rasa... of course I also like listening a broad range of modern music, but my friends always laugh because I don,t recognize very well known groups!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling around Japan.
Working in a small clinic in a lost town in Senegal without electricity or water.
Volunteering in a hospital in Guatemala and traveling south til Tierra del Fuego...
Diving in Tierra del Fuego and in the Caribean
Teach, Learn, Share
Buf I think people would probably learn more from my mistakes... My father is a Philosophy teacher and has always told me clever interesting sentences, would be glad to share them!
