About Me
CURRENT MISSION
You're old school if you have a current mission. ;)
I value every opportunity to practice other languages. So si hablas espanol o vous parlez francais ou fala portugues, I would love to hang out! Je peux ecrir et parler un peu de francais, y puedo escribir y hablar mas o menos en espanol pero falo pequeno portugues. :) I love learning all kinds of languages, so lets talk!
Some of my most favorite experiences in Europe were hanging out in peoples' flats, seeing how they lived, what they ate, and just talking about life, in whatever language + English. And yes, sleeping on a couch or two. :)
I'm a native San Diegan. (one of the few left) I've lived here for most of my life, although I've lived in a few different cities. There's so much to do in San Diego, aside from the standard tourists spots, and I love to share that with people.
PHILOSOPHY
My life lately is about living my life "outside of the system." I blend in quite well, but I like to be different. I am dedicated to creating a life where I can do fun things as much as possible, including travel, in my own way, and make a good living while doing it. I have the most fun spending time with like-minded people, but I also feel that everyone we come into contact with has something to teach us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, attending CS events. Dragging people to CS gatherings. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a little in 2007 and 2008. Met a lot of really cool CS people and surfed in Portland, Italy, Germany and France in 2008. I found out about CS at a hostel in Barcelona in 2006. Too bad I didn't join until I got back to the states!
