ABOUT ME
enjoy making people laugh, sharing ideas and information - factoids as I like to call them. If we meet, you'll see what I mean... I really enjoy traveling, it gives me a feeling of freedom and humility. Remembering that not everyone is lucky to have those things that we take for granted. Meeting new people, making new friends, and doing things with others are important parts of what life is all about after all, aren't they?... I have quite a set of varied interests and I fear that I may not have enough time to delve deeply enough into all of them...
PHILOSOPHY
Be as good to others as you can and act as you would want them to act towards you. Positive gestures don't need to be rewarded to be made or appreciated. Learn from everyday life and appreciate what you have. Don't waste - it is amazing what you can see in some other parts of the world - it really opens your eyes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
The Count of Monte Cristo, read it 5 times and still enjoy picking it up eventhough the original text in French is 1400 pages long...
Classics like Dickens are nice...
Movies:
I have probably watched too many movies, so the list is loonnggg but here are some favorites:
Most films by Luc Besson: Le Grand Bleu, Léon, Nikita, The Fifth Element.
Many of Robin Williams' films: Dead Poet's Society, Good Will Hunting, Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come, etc...
Amélie, Big Fish, Chocolat, Cool Runnings, Da Vinci Code, Forrest Gump, Goonies, Hackers, Kite Runner, La Grande Vadrouille, Love Actually, March of the Penguins, Music of the Heart, Notting Hill, Office Space, Schindler's List, Shrek [I], Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Italian Job, The Red Violin, The Prestige,...
A sucker for romantic movies, movies that make me think or movies that move the heart/soul.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me, an amazing experience is something that moves me to go beyond my own previous ability and achieve something new or to attain a new higher level of understanding in some area...
I've had a few amazing experiences, but here is one that is particularly close to my heart:
