About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love travelling and travelling means to me exploring local culture as much as possible by meeting local people, having fun the way they have, going to their favorite places, eating what they eat, drinking what they normally do. Also simply sit and talk, get to know them.. In my opinion, this is the best way to learn about each place in the world. Couchsurfing gives such a opportunity, teaches to be open-minded, tolerant, helps to make friends all over the world..
Interests
Travelling, but also photography, good film - I like Scandinavian cinema the most. Couldn't live w/t music, love dancing. Passionate about food - love eating, trying new cuisines, but I also experiment in the kitchen myself. Other things I do with passion would be: playing squash, badminton, rollerskating, gardening, singing in the car, driving the car (except at night), eating ice-creams, chocolate.. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all sorts of music, all depends on the mood, time of the day / night what I am listening to. . I am still deeply in love with Edward Sharp, Gus Gus, Austra, Beach House, Beirut. Like Coco Rosie, Zola Jesus, Twin Shadow, The XX.. There are also few good Polish artist I like and would recommend - i.e. Rebeka, Maria Peszek, Kamp, Hey..
oh.. movies.. it is even harder to say which one is my favorite.. sticking to Scandinavian cinema that would be The Hunt, Hotel (2013), Italian for Beginners, Kitchen Stories, Breaking the Waves and other Lars von Trier's films..
I also love Almodovar's movies. But I cannot forget to mention other films that also moved me: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Being John Malkovich, Revolutionary Road, Shortbus, Tarnation, Memento, Candy.. and many many more (I am little film maniac)
Books.. Daniel Keyes "Billy Milligan" , Truman Capote "In cold blood" , Yann Martel "Life of Pi", Zadie Smith "The Autograph Man",Tiziano Terzani "In Asia".. but I recently read mostly polish reporters, writers, travel books, i.e. love and recommend Kapuscinski's books.. or or.. there is a real story about Polish traveller and photographer, Kazimierz Nowak who travelled alone by foot and his bicycle across Africa at the beginning of XX century.. very inspiring!
