About Me

I love daylight savings and mangos. I love being outside my comfort zone and feeling alive! I love getting to know people and having my views and opinions challenged because it helps me grow and opens my mind.

My favourite travel quote is by Mark Twain - "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My fiancé and I love travelling and the people we meet when we're travelling. Our number one aim is to travel the world and meet interesting people from different cultures and walks of life. Our number two aim is to help others live this same dream while they're in Australia!

Our door is open (while we have one) to any weary traveller's out there who are in need of a little beach holiday in a quite town (with pumping surf by the way). I'll cook you dinner and hopefully in return you can give us some hot tips on how to travel the world on minimal money, which is our dream!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most genres of music and listen to a wide range of new and old stuff. We have music playing all the time at home.

My favourite books are biographies of people doing adventurous and challenging stuff. I love Shantaram, Tracks, Wild, A Walk in the Woods. Above all I love Harry Potter!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My fiancé and I recently hiked and camped the Overland Track for 9 days down in Tasmania, which was an amazingly beautiful and rewarding experience (and quite challenging carrying a 20kg pack and not having showers for 9 days!). I loved being out in nature and totally self-reliant for so long.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am bubbly and I might even be fun to be around. My fiancé is a really funny guy and will make you laugh! We can share great food, interesting conversation and a few really bad dad jokes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, India, Laos, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Thailand, Viet Nam
