Hiiii, my name is Joanna! I am 26 years old and I come from Sweden, but I also spent a year living in the U.S., and a few months in Ireland! Currently, I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 3 years where I study law (yes, I am clearly not mentally stable)

I have always had an eye for traveling, but I really got the travel bug after I backpacked in Australia in 2017! This summer I am hoping to see more of Central, and Eastern Europe, as I have never been! :)

I love meeting new people, going out for drinks, explore new places, and just keep myself busy with any sort of activity. I would not be quick to turn down an opportunity for an adventure! I’m especially into hiking, exploring, cycling, mountaineering…

I enjoy making m people around me feel good about themselves. I have quite the youthful spirit, so I am quick to laughter, and I love listening to other people's life stories.

I enjoy exploring new foods and cuisines, and to learn more about the traditional dishes of the country I am visiting. I am not a huge fan of cooking by myself, so if you would be willing to teach me some intriguing, local recipes, I would be eternally grateful! In exchange, I will do all the washing up! I also make an excellent Toast Skagen, which is a traditional Swedish starter, that will change your life :)

When I am not on the go, I read a lot, and I like to play board games, or just relax with friends! I enjoy the occasional movie or tv-show, or just a relaxing walk in the evening!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm sorry, I am a sucker for commercial music... anything that is radio friendly is 100% something I will be into. As a Swede, I am also naturally a big fan of house music, or anything with a good beat. Recently I started listening to Romanian folk music actually!

My favorite movies will ✨FOREVER✨ be Harry Potter & Pirates of the Caribbean.
I also take in tv shows like I do air. 😅

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went skydiving once! And in 2019 I worked at a summer camp in California, where we spent 3 months living in tents, in the middle of a national forest. We had no access to the 'outside world', which was a super cool experience. Over the summer I learnt how to windsurf and eskimo roll, and we did loads of hiking! It was such a wonderful experience!
