Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and spending time with them, I am always happy when I can learn something about different culture. I love to travel, so it's a good opurtunity to spend time with people who can tell me something about the city, or just talk a little.
And also I love my country, so I will be happy to show someone a little bit of my beautiful city.

Interests

- I am a violinist - I am playing since I was 8, so for amazing 18 years
- I am doing PhD in musicology, because I am also interested in history of music and music of other cultures, I also finished anthropology
- I work for magazine about contemporary music
- I write a lot and publish it as a journalist

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music: starting with jazz and classical and ending at japanese pop from the 70s. If something is good, it will be interesting, no matter what kind of music it is. I read a lot, my favourite book at the moment is Secret History by Donna Tartt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I spent a month in Malawi studying music during field research.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook pretty well and I like to do it - maybe some traditional polish meal? We can discuss everything related to anthropology and music, share thoughts on philosophy or simply watch a movie. I study japanese, but I am just a beginner.
