Hi I'm Joanna! I'm a traveler and activist that recently left working as a consultant in the banking/financial services sector to pursue my own research and self-fulfillment. I am a humanitarian at heart and my long term goal and career vision is to work in sustainable development. I graduated with my bachelors from BU in 2016 and for further schooling am thinking of pursuing a masters in data engineering.

I love trying new things and going on adventures- I particularly enjoy exploring natural landscapes, and have a love for the ocean. I am a book fanatic and am always craving more knowledge about our world, its history, and how we are to progress for the future!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted before in my home in New Jersey (close to NYC) as well as my previous apartment in Boston summer/fall 2015. I also traveled around Europe Spring of 2015 and thanks to Couch Surfing made a lot of friends and had great experiences in the cities I was in! I am travelling in Europe/Latin America for the rest of 2018 and beginning of 2019.
