ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Johanna, I love music, nice people, travelling, poetry, theatre and arts in generally.
Furthermore I play piano and the violin, do jazz-dance and love playing thatre by myself, especially impro-theatre. If I travel somewhere the most important thing for me are the people who live at the place I go to. I´ve never done a holiday in a hotel because I think if you wanna get to know a countre you have to get to know the people. It´s the most wonderful thing to come as a foreigner to a place and leave as a friend.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m quite new here, but even before I registered I showed the town where I live to a girl who stayed with a friend of mine via cs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I had the auditions for my music studies I had to travel through half Germany. In many cities i had friends of friends or family but not in Hannover. When I got the admission to the theoretical exams I did not know where to sleep until another singer told me that she´s staying with a girl she knew from cs and that she could ask the girl if there´s place for one more. I seldom experienced such selfless hospitality. Tears were in my eyes when we had to leave!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It´s amazing when you meet people again, often many years after meeting them the first time, at a very different place just by accident. I´ve experienced that phenomena a several times and was flashed each time. It´s just wonderful!
