Hello! I am currently living in Himeji, Japan, right by Himeji Castle. I am from Arizona, but I grew up traveling and living abroad with my family. I love traveling, but mostly I like meeting new people and getting out into nature.

I like meeting new people and getting a more authentic travel experience. Some of my favorite travel experiences have been those that have involved meeting local people and experiencing the more cultural aspects of the specific area I'm in.

I love soccer, reading, and camping. I also enjoy yoga and being in nature. I used to work as an outdoor survival guide for a rehabilitation program for at risk youth and substance abuse, so I really like learning different survival skills and working with this particular demographic. I also really love art and used to paint quite a bit before I moved to Japan.

Books: The Road, Bukowski,... I studied ancient languages in college so most of my books pertain to mythology, ancient poetry, and ancient warfare. I don't have the best library if you're not someone who is into those things. Sorry!

I once drove from Arizona to Vancouver along the Pacific Coast Highway. It was something that I had always wanted to do, and it was really amazing. I recommend that trip to anyone!

I like learning anything and I'm pretty good at talking about really miscellaneous things and facts that most people might not know. I am happy to share any of my language skills with anyone who is interested in Latin, English, Spanish, or any other language that I might be conversational in.
