About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

HI!
My name is Joanna (friends call me Asia) and I'm a pharmacy student at The Medical University of Gdańsk :)

I'm a very positive person, full of energy (according to what the others say.. :)). Interested in cooking, baking and most important - travelling! Trying to be open-minded, not afraid of new things.

Feel free asking me about hanging around the city, spending time.

PHILOSOPHY

"Carpe Diem!"

My philosophy? That's actually a very short sentence :) Don't look back! If you do this you walk away from your target!

Stick to it and everything gonna be all right :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Energy, smile, happiness.

And probably tears at the end, when travelers are leaving :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Exploring the world with CS has already started for me. Maybe it's not a lot, but I've already visited Rome, Milan, Paris and London and many others as a surfer!
Everytime it was a wonderful time, I met so many cool people!

Interests

I'm interested in good cinema movies, FOOD(that's one of the best sides of travelling!), meeting new people.

I truly love learning new things, no matter how useful are they ;p

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have my favourite kind of music. I listen to that suits to me :) Mostly: Coldplay, Laura Marling, Birdy, Florence+the Machine, Ed Sheeran, Kings of Leon from time to time.

Books... I prefer detective stories, but recently I read more stories of life (I mean is that they say for example the story of a family---> Joli Picoult's books).
Well...I must admit that one of my favourite writers is Henning Mankell (don't know why, but Scandinavian people are very good writers!).

I also love the Millennium Series by Stieg Larsson (love the books, hate the film with Daniel Craig)

Movies: mostly comedies, but also less popular films with an important message are also good.
What is important - do not watch only the U.S., but for example: Asian ones ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anything really memorable, but hope sth gonna happen soon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can learn you something in Polish ;p

What I want to learn? hmm.. Cooking a delicious, typical for your country meal. But also a little bit of your language :)

Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
