ABOUT ME

I'm a person that love to live a laid-back life and enjoying my various hobbies and spending time with my partner. I'm a good student in vet school, but could also spend more time with the books than I do at the moment. This is also why I'm looking very much forward to summer break and the USA road trip getting a little time off from school. This will definitely renew my energy towards school work and I look forward to that too!
I'm from a small provincial town in Denmark, but live in the capital Copenhagen because of my studies. I come from a home with many animals and pets and miss surrounding myself with them in my small flat in the big city. I can't wait to finish my education and get my own special place with the love of my life and settle down and carry out a veterinarian practice wether this be small or big animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning a road trip in USA with my best friend this summer for two months and during that time we want to meet and stay with friendly locals and learn more about USA and it's diversity as a whole. We think this is a cool way to experience a country and we look very much forward to this!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm all new to the CouchSurfing experience. I look forward to making new friends!

Interests

When I have time off I really enjoy reading books that doesn't relate in any way to veterinary science (read fantasy, novels, historic dramas, and suspense novels). I also enjoy various creative hobbies like painting and drawing and knife making (as the odd one off!). I also sculpt if possible in clay, wood, soapstone - but I rarely find time to do this!
Other than this I find great joy in new gizmos, video games and movies, but if you ask me to go outside the house I love a good ride on horseback or camping or fixing fences or whatever that needs a practical hand around my mothers or my parents-in-laws farm.

In general I enjoy most movies (except horror movies), most music and many many books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Australia alone for an entire year.
Admiring the vast expanses of the Greenland Inland Icecap.
Breathing hot, humid air in a tomb in The Valley of the Kings, Egypt.
Skydiving when I was 16.

I love the odd party tricks that can astound, impress or make people laugh. If you teach me yours, I'll teach you a few of my own that I've picked up along the way :-)
