Just trying to find a place I can call my second home
ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded person with an insatiable curiosity for the world. Everyone has a story and I'd love to hear yours.
PHILOSOPHY
We create our own heaven; we create our own hell... it's as simple as that.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to show people my side of New York City, the non-touristy side. If you like cocktail bars and never sleeping, we will have a great time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first time couchsurfing was in Munich, Germany in Sept 2012 and I really enjoyed my experience. My host was so kind and answered all of our questions about German culture and traditions. I highly recommend couchsurfing for the invaluable cultural exchange.
I went backpacking across Europe for 2 months in 2014 and couchsurfed most of my way across. I met the most amazing people and friends I know I will keep in touch with for a lifetime.
Intereses
I love walking tours, museums, nightlife, cocktails, beer, street fairs, urban art, carnivals, live music, concerts, exploring... whatever the city brings us

Música, películas y libros
Movies: I love the works of Stanley Kubrick and Wong Kar Wai.
Music: Anything from hip hop to alternative rock to dark techno to classical. I grew up in Brooklyn so hip hop is in my roots but I do like Deftones, System of a Down, U2, RHCP, Jack Johnson, Radiohead, and classical such as Debussy.
Books: David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, just finished Life of Pi and am dreaming about India!
Algo increíble que he hecho
I went on vacation to Egypt during the Tahrir Square protests. It was an eye-opening experience, and I fully respect the people's passion for political change for the better of their country.
I also went to Hainan Island when I was a teen and sat on a live tiger...
I quit my job and backpacked solo across Europe and then went to Western Africa (Morocco & Ghana) in 2014. 20 cities, 9 countries, within 8 weeks. The best thing I've ever done for myself.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach you Chinese (speaking) and a lot about NYC history since I lived here my entire life. I know all the greatest cocktail bars in the city.. even the hidden ones ;)
