I've had some amazing experiences through Couchsurfing and met some really lovely people. It has been a great way to meet people while travelling alone and a wonderful way to learn more about places I was traveling through. I have hosted in the past and am hoping to again in the future. I feel that projects like this help remind me to believe in the kindness of strangers and make me feel like the world is a friendlier place.
