About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life to the full - start learning to sail

ABOUT ME

I love nature, life and adventures. I like to boogie, and sing, and jump about, and laugh, and dress up silly, but thats not to say I don't like to chill out too. I'm quite sociable, and tend to make friends where ever i lay my hat. I love people, and enjoy getting to know them. I like being active, ain't afraid of hardwork, in fact quite like it.

Been travelling around for awhile, avoiding having just one home.

I work with young people and love it, keeps you young, and you get all the current lingo. Maybe I'll get a masters one day.

I love festivals, not commercial ones and recently discovered i like karoake, who knew?

I like exploring and seeing this beautiful world.

PHILOSOPHY

Each Moment New

It might happen for a reason...

are those contradictory?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lovely folks from all over have come to crash and we've always had a great time. When I have a sofa I will make it available on here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A great experience- I was due to sleep in a hostel, but the landlady had got drunk and locked everyone out, and didn't answer the emergency phone number. It was a freezing night in Wanaka. Luckily just that day I'd bumped into Kristi, a friend from home (Newcastle, UK) not knowing she lived there. A couple of us ended up on her sofa that night and then in her garden for a few days after. It was much better than the hostal.

Interests

I love music, creativity, travel, wool (not so much when still on the sheep), sweet things, potatoes, forests, festivals, digging potatoes outta the earth, cooking. Autumn totally rocks, making rosehip wine, sloe gin, foraged chestnut pate and foraged hedgehog mushroom risotto - aww yea. I enjoy out-door life, cycling, tramping, swimming, camping. Is mist a suana for trees? Really want to learn to sail. Life is good.
