This profile was created a while ago...now we are two!

We met in Quebec,and are a now a newlywed couple living in France! We love travelling together and are eager to meet new people who share this interest.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Joanna has participated for several years, hosting and surfing. Together we have hosted and surfed a few times.

Joanna's history:
I have taken people out for drinks, breakfast and city tours in Fredericton, NB. Once I got to Quebec City I took my first CS experience in Montreal, and have went back to the lovely Marc-Andree-Andre-Laurence-Nancy (CS site) experience several times.
My work hours aren`t very flexible, but they are scattered about so that an early morning excursion, or a late night city exploration are both quite possible!

We spend our time teaching together at a high school, Joanna teaches English and Alex, pastisserie. At home we enjoy entertaining friends, cooking, listening to music, reading, playing darts and playing boardgames. Whenever possible we go hiking in the area, and enjoy taking longer vacations with our backpacks and tent. We try to be active and like meeting new people and practicing English and French with others...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-While in London we walked into a large protest of thousands, by mistake, and watched as the crowd swallowed us up and a line of police marched towards us while people threw things at them!
-Our first hiking vacation, 100 km in th canary islands...so beautiful, challenging and so warmly welcomed.

Joanna's history...Taking a long ride through rice paddy country on the back of a moto bike, reaching a fishing boat ferry, being questioned by the Vietnamese military officials unpon arrival at an island of 300 people and staying there for the weekend...eating fresh fish, snorkelling and taking a 5 hour boat ride around the island. There are more stories...and I'm intent on continuing the quest for them!
