It's a great way to get to know adventurous people and locals with same interests. And obviously, it's a cheap opportunity to travel - perfect for poor students.

Music, Movies, and Books

My three favourite books are from the "In the Land of the Long White Cloud" saga from Sarah Lark. It's about some Irish people in the 17th century, who make their way to New Zealand to start new lifes. You get a lot of information about the Maori culture. It's interesting, gripping, romantic, brutal and funny - what a mix!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working as an Au Pair in New Zealand. My family had six kids, so I was really busy and I loved it!

Hitchhiking from Munich to Barcelona in 36 hours with my awesome roommate for a good cause. That was a great experience!

Diving (ok, just snorkeling) with hundreds of colorful fishes!
