Overview
About Me
I am currently spending 6 months traveling in Europe, starting out in France in April. I'm new to Couchsurfing and am looking forward to making lots of new friends along the way!
As a guest, you can expect me to be mellow, friendly, and respectful. I love to meet people when I travel but I'm also very independent and enjoy spending time on my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling solo and I try to experience a place as if I were living there, whether I am there a day or a week or a month. I love meeting people along the way and learning about how people live and think in other places of the world. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet locals and other travelers and to get the true experience of wherever I am visiting.
Interests
Staying active through yoga, running, and some dabbling in rock climbing, learning French, wine nights with friends (or beer nights, I don't discriminate), writing, dancing, living simply and traveling light, walking through the hills of San Francisco and feeling grateful to live in a beautiful place.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite author of the moment is Alain de Botton. I also read a lot of blogs about minimalism and (of course) travel. I hope to always live an adventurous life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Proudly car free for five years and counting :) (Hopefully this counts as amazing since I'm an american...)

What I Can Share with Hosts
My cooking skills are limited, but my favorite thing to make is risotto. Alternatively, dinner (out) is on me!
