About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to pay attention to the little things.. to the hidden beauties of the world

ABOUT ME

I am a student from McGill University in Montreal, but I am currently studying and working in Bremen. I absolutely love it here, but unfortunately, I need to leave in September so that I can finish my bachelors at McGill. *sigh* such a pooper.

PHILOSOPHY

There are no bad days, only bad moments. Always be grateful and happy for what you have. No complaining. Life is too short. Just get over it. And live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I have had this account for almost two years now.. I never really went on it and thus, never couchsurfed before. But.. being in Europe for a year have changed my views towards couchsurfing and now I am looking forward to it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie: The Fifth Element

Music: Honestly.. all kinds. As long as it's not the same genre for hours on end. I need some variety.

Books: Books by Paolo Coelho, Marian Keyes.. and fantasy books (it's nice to sometimes escape from the realities of the world to something more magical).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe it's not that amazing.. but I saved a baby skunk. :)
Was driving home really late at night (around 3am) and I saw this black thing in the middle of the road. As I got closer to it, I saw that it was a baby skunk and its head was stuck in a dairy queen's cup. It was wobbling around and hitting itself on the sidewalk. I got the courage to go up to the smelly creature and hold the cup hard enough so that it can squiggle its way out of it. Once I saw it was out, I ran 5 meters from it because I didn't want to be sprayed... but I believe the skunk understood my action. It looked at me for a few seconds and then wandered off into the darkness. I felt so proud :P for saving a stinky animal!!
