About Me
Hello! My name's Joanna and I come from Poland. I study at Warsaw School of Economics but my true passion is traveling. Just after high school, I left Poland and my home for a year to take care of two lovely and crazy boys in Michigan, as an Au Pair. I still have contact with this family - on daily basis. I love getting to know new people, making friends around the world, and once I am set up in my new apartment in Warsaw this October - I will be willing to welcome you there as well! Check me on instagram joanna.smigielska - leave a message ;)
I don't cause any trouble - I'm not a smoker, I don't drink - occasionally some wine or drinks for fun with friends.
Any questions?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing about 4 years ago but never used it. Now is the time. I will be volunteering in Puerto Rico with the Disaster Relief Program and as a student, I have to rely on my tight budget. Couchsurfing creates this great opportunity to connect with a variety of interesting people, make friends and at the same time save money from unnecessary expenditure on hotels. I could not choose better. I am willing to share my other social media profiles so you can verify me and text me at any time. Couchsurfing seems like an amazing adventure, and I am ready to start it!

Travel, cultures, art, economics, business, many more!
About to learn more about photography, graphic design, planning to learn how to swim longer distances and then learn how to surf - any advice?

I can share some recipes for Polish Pierogi! (I know you love them!)
I will tell you more about Poland, the countries I've been to, my volunteering time in Puerto Rico, etc. We can talk about your new ideas - for travel? for start up? And I can talk about food for hours - that's my international language :)
