ABOUT ME

My name is Joanna and I am currently living in Bucharest, Romania. I moved here 4 years ago and trying to get as much positive experience from this place as I can, although some people think that it's kinda hard in here ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I appreciate small things in life, because those are the things that make me really happy :) Some time ago I realized that you cannot really buy the experience and money won't give you everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I can, I try to host people at place, I also participate in CS meetings in Bucharest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did have some couchsurfing experience (e.g I travelled in Portugal with couchsurfing) few years ago, but unfortunately my life changed a bit over the years, so I am starting all over again.

Interests

I love animals, especially dogs and the most in the world - my pug :) I also like to visit new places and meet new people. And my main interest is still to know myself better and overcome the things which are haunting me from time to time :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy different types of music, depends on my mood.
I love books of Kurt Vonnegut and I adore his sense of humor. I am also very much into Haruki Murakami literature ans starting to get to know better Eduardo Mendoza.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took really fast a decision to move from one country to another.

I can teach you a lot about pugs ;)
And seriously - I am open to exchange the experience and knowledge about my home country and the place I am currently living in.
